Meet Amy Gresl, Licensed Acupuncturist
Amy Gresl didn’t start out in the healthcare field. She worked as a landscape designer and grew up on a turf farm in Wisconsin. After experiencing health challenges later in life, she began searching for a nutrition program. Then she saw an ad for a free acupuncture session at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, booked it, and everything shifted.
She still remembers walking out and realizing her back felt better, and not just “a little bit better.” She had five straight days without back pain after relying on chiropractic care since she was 7 years old. That moment made her decision clear.
Why Her Patients Feel the Difference
Amy is now in her 17th year in practice, and what drives her is simple: she loves seeing people feel better. She’s noticed how quickly a session can change someone’s whole energy. Shoulders drop. Breathing slows. Stress softens. Sometimes the most telling result is the look on a patient’s face when they sit up and say, “Oh… that’s different.”
Her gentle needling style is calm, practical, and people-first. She listens closely, watches posture and movement, then shapes care around what your body is asking for that day.
Services That Pair Naturally With Chiropractic
At Tennessee Spine and Wellness, Amy’s services can complement chiropractic adjustments by supporting circulation, easing tension, and helping patients transition into recovery, especially for active individuals and busy families in Nashville.
Depending on your needs, your visit may include:
- Acupuncture
- Cupping
- Gua sha
- Tui Na
- Electrical stimulation (E-stim)
Amy is also certified in the Biomechanics Method of corrective exercise. While she doesn’t “make it a whole program,” she regularly shares posture and movement tips patients can actually use between visits.
