Meet Nick Stabile, DC
Growing up, Dr. Stabile didn’t plan to become a chiropractor. He was finishing his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Cardiac Rehab at William Paterson University in 1994 when a random marketing flyer from a local chiropractor set off a chain of events that would change his life.
His mentor at William Paterson told him to go find out what chiropractic was all about. One visit turned into a week of care, and that chiropractor looked at him and said, “You are not going to Long Island for grad school. You are going to Atlanta to become a chiropractor.” Dr. Stabile laughed it off. Then a second chiropractor said the same thing.
Then a third invited him to shadow at his office and brought him to Life University to meet the legendary Dr. Sid Williams. By the time he left that trip, the path was clear. He enrolled at Life University and graduated in 2000 with his Doctor of Chiropractic.
One of Tennessee’s Leading CBP Practitioners
Dr. Stabile is trained in Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®), holding all of the original certifications developed by CBP founder Dr. Don Harrison, covering cervical, lumbar, and multiple structural correction protocols. He is believed to be among the only practitioners in Tennessee offering CBP, which is widely regarded as the most research-backed technique in the chiropractic profession.
He is also trained in Webster Technique, Graston, and Active Release Technique (ART), and previously served as an adjunct professor at William Paterson University. Earlier in his career, he served as the official chiropractor for the New York Red Bulls soccer team and the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, and currently serves as chiropractor for the Canes baseball organization.
From New Jersey to Tennessee, Building Something Bigger
After two decades building a thriving multi-practice operation in New Jersey, including up to four locations and a gym before COVID, Dr. Stabile and his family relocated to Tennessee in 2021 in search of a fresh start. Retirement lasted less than five months. He purchased the Tullahoma practice that summer, the continuation of a chiropractic legacy that has operated without interruption since 1970, and has not slowed down since. Tennessee Spine and Wellness now spans three locations across Tullahoma, Clarksville and Brentwood.
All locations participate in VA Community Care, making the practice a trusted resource for veterans and active military families, particularly in Clarksville, home to Fort Campbell. The practice also offers regenerative medicine services, including joint injections and hyaluronic acid therapy for knees and shoulders.
Rooted in Family, Focused on the Future
Away from the office, Dr. Stabile is a husband and father of three teenagers, including an oldest who is already talking about chiropractic school and a middle son deciding where he will play college baseball. His wife Wendy is also a chiropractor, and the practice has grown into a true family operation. He jokes that free time is mostly a myth these days, but squeezes in golf when the weather cooperates.
